 DAY 01: Short flight to Manta from Quito or Guayaquil, drive around the Ecuadorian second main port, move on to Machalilla National Park visiting Montecristi, the place where the wrongly called "Panama hats" were born, you can learn the process directly from the master handcrafters. Accommodation in a Hotel around the area of the National Park. DAY 02: Visit Isla de La Plata (The Island of silver), inside the Machalilla National Park and a half-hour from mainland by yacht. It is Known as little Galapagos due to its incredible resemblance, in flora and fauna, to the enchanted islands, this beautiful wildlife sanctuary hosts blue and red footed and masked boobies, seagulls and many other birds; from July to September it is a must for whale-watchers. Humpback whales gather for their mating season dance and you are sure to return with more than one great picture. Accommodation in a Hotel around the National Park. DAY 03: Go to Los Frailes, a paradisiacal white sand line of beaches surrounded by a primary dry forest where the water is clear blue like the sky and the rock formations emulate giant turtles, in a place full of life and beauty. Visit the archaeological sites and museums of Salango and Agua Blanca community. Drive south following "La Costanera", the road that goes parallel with the beach to the Northwest of Guayaquil. Accommodation. DAY 04: Transfer out from Guayaquil to airport for national or international flight.
